A shortcut is a free app for iOS devices that allows you to run difficult tasks with just a couple of buttons. They work with iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch.

The shortcut app in iOS 13 comes with a new automation tab that let users set up automatic shortcuts. However, it also allows users to set up multi-step action with a single tap or Siri’s voice command.

Though, some automation requires approval from you, in which a notification will be sent before the shortcut is triggered. Read How To Turn Siri Off On iOS and macOS
